Yesterday was the first day of Inspiration Showcase with Jennifer McGuire. So much fun!!! Here is my first card. It was funny that the first technique was traditional resist on glossy paper. I had just thought last week that I should use that technique on a card for the Lily Pad resist challenge. I'm always thinking I need to do more of their challenges cause they have such a great blog! I love their fun posts. Anyway this was just the motivation I needed. I also decided to go with an "Autumn" theme for the Hero Art's challenge.
Stamps: Hero Arts CL457, Inks: Distress, Rusty Hinge, Mustard Seed, Aged Mahogany. Leaves: Petaloo.
Now I hope to have some time to work on the other techniques as well!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs!
Beautiful resist, Karen! Love your soft, Autumn colors! So glad you're enjoying the classes!

ReplyDeleteKaren, this is beautiful, you did such a great job with the technique.
ReplyDeleteKaren this is gorgeous! Love how you made the fall colours come to life. Just splendid embossing and blending of inks and love the addition of fall leaves and twine. This really is a great masculine card. Love it.
