Another Camp Card

Well I just completed another card for camp. I honestly created this card in less than 10 minutes. I used one of the sketches provided today by Kristina Werner and it made it so easy. I know my card doesn't follow the sketch exactly but that's the beauty of camp....to be inspired and run with the idea.

First of all I apologize for the lighting. It's just after 9pm so I didn't have the nice natural light to work with. I started off by randomly inking the background stamp, Hero Arts S5473, Reverse pattern, with Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters. I misted the stamp with some water and stamped onto the smooth side of a scrap piece of white Bazzill Cardstock. I cut it into even strips and placed it on my card. I adhered the top and bottom strips first and then spaced the middle ones from there. I did not pull out my ruler and get all precise I just eyeballed it. Next I used white embossing powder with the Penny Black Flower stamp 4160K Chearful. After I stamped and embossed I used my distress blending tool to add Tumbled Glass and Broken China. I cut the flower out and popped it up onto the card. Before I adhered the flower I stamped the "Hello" with Technique Tuesdays Petite Posies stamp.

I also wanted to say Thanks to everyone over at the Hero Arts Flicker Group for all the kind comments. If you haven't been over to the Hero Arts blog today my "Flip Flop" cards were chosen as one of the lucky "Fab 5".  I am honored and thrilled to be in such good company. Go Here to see all the wonderful cards that were chosen for round 1 of the July Challenge. Thanks Hero Arts!!

I appreciate all of you and your sweet comments so much and I also wanted to also give a special "Shout Out" to my Reno friends! I miss you guys and I miss having the opportunity to craft with you and for you.

Thanks for stopping by
Hugs!
